Jacob Schulte
Math, Science & Spanish
Mr. Jacob Schulte brings passion and international perspective to his teaching. With a degree in Spanish Education K-12 from Minot State University and IB certification, he strives to inspire lifelong learning through engaging education.
When not in the classroom, Mr. Schulte enjoys spending time with family, traveling (especially to Turkey), playing futbol, and sipping Turkish coffee. His diverse interests and dedication to continuous learning enrich his approach to education and connection with students.
Jim Hankins
History, Art & Geography
James Hankins brings a wealth of artistic expertise and teaching experience to his role. With a summa cum laude BFA in art education from UMSL and 13 years in graphic design, he blends practical skills with academic excellence. His artwork, exploring American identity, has been exhibited in prestigious galleries.
After a decade of inspiring students in the Hazelwood School District, Mr. Hankins continues to foster creativity and a love for learning, drawing on his experiences as both an educator and a grandfather.
Liz Lewis
Language Arts & Homeroom
Ms. Liz Lewis is a dedicated educator who finds joy in helping students learn and grow. With degrees in Elementary and Special Education from Northwest Missouri State University and a Masters in School and Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.
Outside the classroom, Ms. Lewis enjoys playing tennis, crafting, and spending time with her close-knit family. Her passion for teaching, combined with diverse interests like reading and shopping, keeps her energized and inspired in her work with children.
Paul Collum
Physical Education & Wrestling
Paul Collum brings an impressive wrestling background to his role as an educator. A two-time state champion and USA Cadet Freestyle National winner, he excelled in high school and college, earning national titles at both levels. After his competitive career, Mr. Collum transitioned to coaching, leading successful NAIA programs and mentoring numerous national qualifiers and champions.
He continues to impact the wrestling community through private coaching and running a freestyle/Greco-Roman club, where he's helped develop top-tier talent like Luke Lilledahl.
